Which are hardly limited to Pynchon's, of course ...

Uncharacteristically lucid prose all of a sudden, by
the way ...

Reflexivity, again?

Having hosted more'n a few time myself ...

Well, it IS nice to have, say, an online version of
something that everyone can consult. Not to mention
go to so as not to either have to type everything in,
or clutter everything up. Though I generally try to
include relevant text in case the links go dead dwon
the line (happens quite a bit). And I do like to
credit my sources, expose the machinery. Me, I
generally rely on print sources, but I always
appreciate being saved some wear and tear ...

... which is why I also appreciate NOT being raved at.
I tend to respond to responses to me first, so ...
but as said "ravings" WERE directed at me ...

Yeah, poor Morris, I'm such a big meanie to him, esp.
as he never does anything to provoke me ...

Eek! Doug germs ...

Subtle MPFC ref., very good ...

Not complaining, that was merely descriptive ...

Always surprised when somebody doesn't by now ...

Er ...

Uncharacteristically uncharacteristically lucid ...

Not so sure about that, but, again, I think I've at
times been able to suspect something potentially
worthwhile afoot where others might be simply
scatching their heads. But rarely is something simply
asserted here. Not that I'm complaining, I go to
pains not to do so myself, but there's rarely any
point to complianing about being misunderstood here
when being understood isn't exactly a priority ...

Actually, depending on what said "feud" is, I'd credit
that more to the entry of others with whom certain
combatants had no particular interest in arguing with,
is all, but ... well, next up, "Low-lands" ...
