Positively.....occasionally you may be reminded, however, of facts which
may have slipped from memory...the entire narrative is not easy master in

My sole publication "credit" is in the realm of mergers, and anti-takeover
strategy.............Among the many banks I chatted with upon my graduation
was BB........

size has only recently become a matter of critical concern..

when I was there in the 80s the BULGE bracket firms were featured 
BELOW the white shoes like Goldman, Morgan Stanley and the like in the
tombstones........

That is now....back then in the 20, 30 and even 40s, the dominant operators
in CORPORATE FINANCE were the White SHoe firms, like BBH, Dillon Reed,
Weld, WHite, and others....I have spoken to people who worked in such firms
AT that time, and even ones who knew Prescott and young Poppy.....
THe business was different then, it relied, not on efficiency, but on
connections..hence the repeat appearances of figures like Dillon's
Draper,and BBH's Dulles in "quasi governmental" roles.....
