And remember the narrator scolds american slothrop for chasing the demon
who stole his clothes "up" the tree, setting up his inevitable naked fall. 
But
you and I and all those who know, know, that the tree is really upside down.

Unlike that uprooted number in Berlin, at the tippy-top of the parabola where
sloth, saure & co., share some nice kif. But the same tree, none-the-less.

Is it any wonder that native american women give birth to their natural born
killers standing upright while clinging to an axis pole?
