Of course there are.
What can we say about this?
1. Not much.
2. Too much.
It's the Pynchon List so I'll take door number 3
and behind door number THREE!
Three Little Pigs a chicken crossing the road and the regurgitated boy
who cried wolf.
Don DeLillo's _Underworld_
"To the memory of my mother and father"
To the WORK itself?
Yes, VL is a novel about WORK.
Is writing novels a job?
VL was a long time coming.
So, like you're the guy that wrote that rocket book that my english
professor said was like the second coming of Moby-Dick. So, like,
written anything since?
LATER than usual.
I see, been kinda doin the Sloth rip van winkle out here in sleepy old
redwood tree land.
Don't all those saws and hammers just make you crazy?
