VLVL2 (1) warm-up: Dedication

An argument exists that the dedication for _Pale Fire_, "To Vera", does in
fact have significance for the work, although it seems a stretch to me only
because VN dedicated all his work to his wife. Thematically though the book
does concern itself in part with an author's relationship with his wife in
regard to his writing. (More on this when NPPF starts.)

Also, I seem to recall a novel with a dedication to one of the characters in
the book itself, but I cannot remember what it was.
