Shall we, since this is the P-list (and to keep the
discussion in the same vein), talk similarly about
Pynchon's log-rolling? About his slapping his name on
the back of a Tom Robbins novel?
Or shall we discredit his observations by noting his
cowardice and utter lack of conviction and commitment
in not using his position to speak out against the
war?
