_Stone Junction_ Intro question

My 1997 (?) NY Grove Press edition has the same errors (on page xiii), now 
that you mention it. The name "Pearse" does show up in the text beyond page 
one. I guess I wouldn't worry too much about it though.  Good pun, BTW--I 
hardly even groaned.

Kinbotically, of course, it leaves me not knowing what their names are, as
the only mentions of Pearce/Pearse are in the Intro and on page one (so far,
anyway ... am only 40 pages into _Stone Junction_ ...). For now I am
trusting the author of the novel on this one, not TRP.

O-or maybe MY copy is the ONLY one with this "pearced" inverse rarity....
