I've been quietly clamoring for a COL49 reading, especially because of its
cultural relevance, Gibson's "Pattern Recognition", the Matrix series etc.
Vineland sounds like a long haul with lots of potential for on-list
backbiting. We could probably find some connection between the shadowy and
absurd governmental actions in Vineland and .....oh say...the Patriot Act.
I flourish my pom poms and do a painful split in my San Narciso letter
sweater for a reading of The Crying of Lot 49.
Sorry about the visual.
Peace
Joe
