Text is a way of describing something the author's brain is interpreting
from a series of sensory inputs, those inputs themselves an
interpretation of the physical manifestations outside the senses which
are "interps" of those jiggly little quarkian elves up all night in the
garage hammering and sawing, creating an interpretation of what was
meant, perhaps, by the original "Bang" itself.
