FW: summing up

No offense taken. I just wanted to make sure the group was aware of the
number of resources devoted to the intersection of Pynchon and Nabokov;
something that surprised me. Anyway, I'll pitch in to either or both,
whatever happens. A dual reading of both texts might have caused more
insights and contributions all around. For now, we'll see what
percolates up and I'll contribute (Tim, if you need another host, then I
volunteer though I am a pup). Anyway, I would be bereft without your
input.

When I answered this post awhile ago, I didn't realize
it was to Pynchon-L, too.

No criticism intended at all. Your suggestion was a
good one, and you've come up with some great
resources. Too bad s~Z -- who started this Pale Fire
ball rolling -- didn't follow up on it (and on
davemarc's suggestion).
It seems clear now that the Gang of Five was just
stirring up shit, more interested in putting up a list
of names that excluded me than anything else.
I agree that a discussion of Pale Fire with a Pynchon
focus could be quite interesting, but that's not what
s-Z proposed. As I said to the list, I doubt the
ability of s~Z, Morris, and that little group to
conduct a Pynchon-focused discussion of the novel.

"Labia Boy" -- nasty, but I can't keep from chuckling.
