Ditto.  During the last reading, I'd often pick up
$4.99 paperback copies on the fly, esp. as the wear
and tear I put on 'em whilst hosting can be pretty
brutal.  I used to hand out used copies of that Bantam
ed. of Gravity's Rainbow like Gideon's Bibles ...

And I'm not sure what my success rate has been, but I
do know that the one person who hated GR at least went
to the trouble to finish it first ...
