I've never heard him say that Christianity is in danger and that he wants to
go to war because he's thinking of a crusade/jihad. He has used simply good
vs. evil metaphors but everybody knows that he's talking to millions too who
precisely want to hear this & have elected him. Maybe he will get a second
term if he wins that war, but after that he will be gone.

Saddam Hussein, a bloody dictator for decade, has at least two good chances
to avoid the war. He can either follow resolution 1441 unconditionally (this
week) or he can go into exile. In both cases the sanctions against Iraq soon
could be lifted.

If Saddam can't do any of this I fear George, Tony, Silvio, José María & the
others already have decided what will happen.
