Funny how standard English has adopted the term "African-American" to
describe a race of people. It begs the question, Don't y'all got black folks
where you come from?
No offense, Jbor. I'm right with you on the Ebonics debate.  It's just the
term  "African-American." It's so stiff, so PC.  And sometimes its usage is
absurd.
I wish it were just a simple black or white again. Or black AND white,
whatever the case may be : )
