My mind wasn't exactly changed by the rhetoric here, but it's only since
joining the P-list that I cared one way or another. It's not a complete
waste. Besides, what is it Gandhi said? "Everything we do is futile, but we
must do it anyway."

The US bombed the Palestinian Hotel last month knowing the Press was there.
AlJazeera was hit too. It's more than just an "infringement" on civil
liberties. An attack on the Press is a *real* attack on freedom. Here at
home it's happening more subtly in FCC deregulation. I'm afraid soon it's
gonna be AOL Time Warner fast-food news every night of the week, on every
channel, in every paper across America. Shudder is right.
