I don't read the posts carefully sometimes, but I have never heard any
poster here call Pynchon a 'shitty writer.' All I have heard is criticism of
specific paragraphs or essays as shitty writing, but never Pynchon as
'shitty writer.' Do you have an example of such, or have you misread the
posts here? I suspect that you have fabricated this accusation and that
there is not one bit of evidence for it in the archives. The one exception
may be one poster who came on a few years ago with an anti-Pynchon agenda,
but not one of the regulars has ever labeled Pynchon a shitty writer. A
shitty paragraph or essay does not a shitty writer make. You made this up
though, right?
