Problem was that Doug set up the schedule that called for the reading of
the Intro first and prevented us from discussing the stories
concurrently. Why did Doug do this?
No idea. Don't care. but ....
what's good for the "gang of 4 or 5 or infinity" is good for the
twosome.
the twosome insists on treating the rest of us as a gang even though
it's quite obvious that we are not a gang or even of one mind. This is
Doug's favorite ploy. You've had his back every time he uses this ploy
and I can't for the life of me understand why. I'm glad you called Quail
on his photo post, but notice how Doug (despite the fact that I bitched
at Quail too) complained that MalignD and myself had a hand in Quail's
creation of some sort of Millstein. Doug's favorite ploy is to turn as
many members of this list against him so he can address us all as one
gang. It's been going on for years.

Part of the problem (and Doug knows this is the case) is the number of
posts he sends to this list that are googled news reports. There is
also the fact that Doug is now some sort of Pynchon blogger. This means
that he is an expert at googling up a reply to every issue and topic.
Good god, what Doug doesn't know about Defense Contracts and their
balance sheets could fill the grand canyon and yet this doesn't stop him
from flooding the P-list with news stories about corporate crimes and
investigations to prove his point that American business is corrupt and
the capitalist globalized economy a sham.
