In don't know about your town but in my town the war on drugs is raging. 
Of course, our Mayor pretends to a wall street bostonian hatchet man
with a pen, but he is a wholly owned subsidiary of the war on drugs. His
better, of course, had recently acquired Mexico City, a wholly owned
subsidiary of Rudy International. 

We couldn't

This is pretty cynical. The USA has been managing several fronts for
decades.

The last helicopter pulled out of West Virginia, leaving 4,000 filthy
children in a shot gun shack the size of the Bronx back when LBJ
promised to never use the F-word again. Seen it on the tube.
