Lemay does come on to Zoyd, but as he does he keeps up the pretence that
Zoyd is "Cheryl". Line ball.

One logger. Self-conscious irony on Zoyd's part. No suggestion that he's
homosexual, or that he's actually trying to fix up Prairie, and Prairie's
female anyway. Perhaps Zoyd's a bit obsessed wondering about whether
Prairie's literal virginity's intact, but she ain't saying.
