It is true. Women aren't even allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia. Purdah was
not enforced in Iraq. Remember, Saddam suppressed the Shiites. (Let's
liberate the Shiites! They love us!) As for method and motivation of control
of the empire, I'm unclear on what you are suggesting is the motivation.
