So, Pynchon was interview by a cat in Japan. Since we don't know his/her
name we'll call her/him Ziggy.

Do we know that Ziggy's interview was conducted in English?

If so, do we know if Ziggy is a native speaker of English?

If so, do we know who translated it to Japanese?

Was it Ziggy?

Ziggy did not translate it back into English for us.

Did any of the "back to English" translators interview Ziggy?

If so, did they conduct their interview with Ziggy in,

(a) English
(b) Japanese
(c) both / and,
(d) none of the above
(e) All Ziggy's are cats from Japan
