No, this is one of the most suggestive, most
productive posts I've seen in this discussion.  Again,
I tend (tentatively) to agree with many of the
(tentative) conclusions being reached here, but
perhaps only the sense of intersecting a line of
thought at that point, rather than coinciding with it
along its trajectory.  I'm not sure about you,
Terrance, but I imagine Robert in particular, as
opposed to say, Otto and myself, or Doug and myself,
disragarding for the moment their notorious, er,
noncenovergences. have rather diferent ideas about
where Pynchon is coming from and where he is headed
whilst crossing those points himself.  Thanks ....
