Growing up and getting over it (Vheissu, that is) is a major theme in V.  At 
the seige old Hugh told V that she needed to grow up and get over it:

"There's been a war [...] Vheissu was a luxury, an indugence. We can no 
longer afford the likes of Vheissu." 248;

But then we know what happens to him then...

So is Peter Pan the answer?  No, that's the path of the Schlemeil, isn't it 
(but is that so bad?) ?

But children shouldn't have children, should they?

I'm a bit confused, but I know there's something in here somewhere...
