When God is invisible behind the world, the contents of the world will
become new gods; when the symbols of transcendent religiosity are
banned, new systems develop from the inner-worldly language of science
to take their place. Like the Christian Ecclesia, the inner worldly
community has its apocalypse too.

The Light!

This radical trans-valuation of meaning, the inversion of the mystic
union, replacing a transcendent God with a social collective, the
building of the corpus mysticum of the collectivity that binds the
members and forms the oneness of the body, is Gnostic.
