[the Robot Vegetable]

_The Man Without Qualities_ Musil.  I wasn't sure what I thought about
this throughout vol. I, but now that I'm into the posthumous papers,
and wishing there were another 1000 pages, I'm convinced it's a great
novel.  

Up next? Something that will be interesting to read, but not so much
that it will keep me at my tent during the upcoming Oregon Country Fair.
Probably space opera.  Walter Jon WIlliams or, ...drat, the fellow
who wrote _Redemption Ark_.  Al someone.
