More info re Smithsonian program: 7 good reasons for coming

In addition to the great seminar with Brian McHale as aforementioned and attached, you won't want to miss this because...

1. Zak Smith will be on hand to show slides  and talk about his Gravity's Rainbow works at the Whitney.

2. We will have a full, large screen viewing of Laurence Daw's web-based GR.

3.  the National Air & Space Museum is a few steps away: they have a V2 rocket on display.

4. You'll get to meet some of the other wastelanders, plus other Pynchonists.

5. Maybe he'll show up, incognito, out of sheer curiosity.

6. It's cheaper than going to Malta...but it doesn't conflict if you want to do that, too.

7. (I put my butt on the line to get them to do this program).
