A freind notes the correlation betwixt electoral
coolege votes and nearby bodies of water. Whereas
along the North Atlantic, West and "Middle" (a.k.a.
"Third") Coasts (i.e., The Great Lakes), these are
generally seen as benign, beneficial, benificent,
even, entities, down South, in hurricane county, along
the South Atlantic Coast and the Gulf of Mexico,
voters might well be a little more wary of "Acts of
god" ...

Cf. voter preferences along waterways ...

And I'm guessing this holds up vis a vis "tornado
alleys" and/or trailer parks as well ...
