I certainly hope that you are correct, but I have personally spoken to
people who very recently were still buying the Saddam planned 9-11
propaganda. People really do seem to believe that this stuffed shirt slacker
is some sort of tough guy. He's a whiny little weasel. The spin is
mind-numbing.
On the other hand, I have also heard some interesting comments in my
blue-collar world over the past few days. I didn't hear that he was
"nervous" or "petulant". I heard "He got his ass kicked." So I guess that
I'll have to believe in the judgment and intelligence of the American
people.
