I don't think that's true, genius. Ezra Pound admired Joyce's Ulysees; he detested Finnegan's Wake. So following EP, I have read Ulysees ( have you?) but haven't bothered with much of Finnegan's Wake. There are critics that I admire ---I think Cowart himself--who have said that GR is sprawling and needed substantial editing. Beside, if you havent read V or COL 49 closely, I dont think you will understand the context of GR. But I imagine even if you did read the earlier novels you wouldn't get them or GR>
