much of this nation has chosen ignorance, for whatever
reasons.  They are now putty in the hands of a demagogue
like Bush.  Of course, the press shares much of the blame,
but why aren't people choosing to be more critical and
informed?  The facts are there to find if you pay very much
attention at all.  It must have something to do w/ a lack of
tolerance to hearing disturbing news about authority
figures. People simply filter it out.
