What? Another famous author needs to get all poetic about Bill Buckner and
the Curse of the Fucking Bambino? Another movie with the Red Sox as a
metaphor for fatalism and futility? Or faith? It's done. It's played. The
coup de grace landed in Mientkievicz's glove.

I love Delillo, but people need to find a new model. In a bittersweet way,
The Boston Red Sox are now just a very good baseball team. The dragon lies
slain.
