I can't answer that off the top of my head though  Empson's seven get
discussed a little in the novel. The poet (antihero) is asked to
enumerate them, gets part way into it, but never finishes the list. I'll
try and find the place but it's a long book. Someone here is bound to
know the answer, has the original handy. I think it's still read and
discussed.

At another point a psychiatrist (one of the narrators) sez that far more
ambiguous than language or poetic language are the psychological
ambiguities which with HE deals.
