I just finished Stone's 'Children of Light' and thought it was ok, but
not nearly as good as 'Dog Soldiers' or even 'Outerbridge Reach'. The
ending dragged and fizzled. 

Also finally got round to Bellow's 'Humboldt's Gift' over the Xmas
holiday, and for once the blurbs were right, a comic masterpiece.
