My own daughter, in her second year of college, recently read "The Da
Vinci Code." I asked her what she thought of it, and she said "I can
make fun of it at great length."
My own father, an atheist and a communist (small c) always advised me
to read the Bible, as he did when he was young. I have so advised my
daughter as well, without result. As for the "Protocols," I take the
word of others for what they are, and have not felt any need to read
them, and I doubt my daughter will either.
