awesome pynchon pic

I wonder when exactly he broke his nose. Or had a nose job. Not the same 
nose at all.
And he's in his late 30's here? Maybe? Unh-unh. This is some stoner at a 
convention who thinks the notoriety's going to be cool.
Look at the old CNN photo from a few years back, if that's Pynchon, and this 
is not step B from the high school's photo step A to CNN's step C.
There are pictures from Farina's wedding still floating around the web, yes?
Compare and contrast.
