That Luddite Thing

HOLY CRAP< THE DISCUSSION LIVES!!!! (sorta)

Anyhow, I have been called varying things from Luddite to asshole for
my own opposition to mobile phones, but I certainly never bought any
of that stuff.  I just personally find them pretty rude, and (for most
people) unneccesary.  I will grant that for some people they are
useful, but if I have to ride my campus bus home one more time
listening to some girl chat loudly with a friend about why her and
whatever guy didn't seal the deal last night, I think I will drive a
nail into my eardrums.
