a quasi-new topic re: GR: the title

This may seem like a bit of a backwards jump, but before we even start the
book we are confronted with the title: as such, "Gravity's Rainbow" takes on a
number of possible interpretations, many of which have no doubt been
discussed in postings years ago. Nevertheless, I'd like to broach for discussion
what, to me, are at least a couple of the possibly most significant: 1) the
illumination of a primal force of the universe; and 2) the "up" side to a "down"
(and, yes, the two aren't mutually exclusive but, in a way, intertwined, much
like a DNA helix...). After all, TRP could've selected lots of other things
to title the book, so his choice would seem to be rather important, not to be
glossed over by "jumping" right past it and into Chapter 1...!?!
