Martial law is coming, don't you worry.  Great practice for establishing it
on an ongoing basis when the terrorism alert level goes up a little.

Yesterday, I heard someone say "Poor, Bush.  First '9-11,' and now this."
Yeah, Bush can't even call up alligator tears.  After all, if you had money,
you got out of town before Katrina hit,  and with the focus on this natural
disaster, who's gonna pay attention to Iraq, corporate crimes, and other
unnatural disasters.  A-and the National Guard, FEMA, and the usual
charitable organizations such as the Red Cross and Crescent can't handle the
reconstruction alone.  Surely there must be a corporation with experience
doing that sort of thing....  Halliburton, anyone?
