man, let me tell you, i live in a shit-loft in brooklyn that has a
jillion foot ceilings, wide open windows and etc, yet my cat is so
angry at me right now that she *stunk it up* with this lung-hijacking
saturation raid...it's so bad in here that i've considered jumping out
the window, with her. then i read the last thing on moody, how rich
signed it, "rich," yet when i first read the word, i thought it was
another perjorative used to denigrate rick moody, i.e., "that rich
fuck," and i thought about how he left it off the line, indented a new
one with the word, like it was poetry, or worse yet a spoken word
script where that last word is meant to bounce off your ear like a
rubber bullet... "richhhhhh...." then i realized that he just signed
his name. it was a good laugh for a moment; damn it, back into the
yellow fog.
