eGad: Pynchon excerpt from new novel

IIRC, Moore is, or was, the head of the Contemporary Review of Books,
for one thing.  That's all I remember about him though.  I think he
may have something to do with the Dalkey Archive as well, but it may
only be that he's had something published by them... ?
