eGad: Pynchon excerpt from new novel

Well, point being, we simply just don't know yet.  It
COULD all be, "stupid songs," "strange sexual
practices," "obscure languages," and
"contrary-to-the-fact occurrences" notwithstanding
(and even then ...), more or less along those lines
(whatever they may be ...).  Or not.  But, again,
there's no point in anyone complaining about it just
yet.  Is that excerpt, or that blrb, or the title, or
... going to keep any of you from reading the damn
thing?  If so, well, then you've essentially already
disqualified yrself from commenting much any further. 
And this is all we're likely to get for another four
months or thereabouts (Nov. 21st now?  Will attempt to
adjust my schedule, Tim).  Meanwhile, we already have
at least a walking head start on the research, so ...

My roommate even got a good laugh out of it, so ...
