that's right--steven moore admits as much that the catalog is not their
general one, but one for those in the biz. which leads to why this excerpt
was chosen, but i'm really not caring all that much about it, like this tit
for tat about the greatest writer in english. in library school we were
taught the right book for the right person. pynchon happens to be it for
many of us but it's not like it means anything
p.s. eagles throne by fuentes is really dull--wet dreams for PRI enthusiasts
pps: houellbeq's latest island wasn't as bad as platform but still seemed a
replay of elementary particles
ppps: got 1/2 thru timothy leary's bio by greenfield--that man is not worth
a 700 pg bio--if u wanna see what went wrong in the 60s just read the load
of shit that Leary wrote during that time.in fact the politicos on the left
thought he was a CIA plant pushing acid on the young folk to keep'em
distracted from the street fight.
