Yep, there's a lot to ponder about what may or may not crop up. Pynchon 
seems to allude to Bush and his misbegotten cronies in the blurb - that 
'fasle religiosity, evil intent' bit...

Read The Secret Agent a long time ago. I remember it being amazingly good, 
but if memory serves the ending was extremely depressing.
