Received a copy of 'A Companion to V' by J Kerry Grant in the post today. Looks great. Just read the introduction and noticed this: "Caveat lector, it is clear, is the novel's persistent subtext." A nice coincidence (?) with Pynchon's blurb sign-off: "Let the reader decide, let the reader beware. Good luck." Cheers JC
