So I say:

Yup, though I have a hard time imagining someone
making their way through GR while listening to Xenakis
or Brotzmann (as someone who has attempted this
madness, I can say that it doesn't bode well).

PS- Johnny Dowd?  Who's that?  I keep thinking of
Johnny Dodds, the great clarinetist who played with
Jelly Roll Morton & Louis Armstrong's Hot Fives &
Sevens.
