Did I mention that band practice takes place in my home studio which has a
well stocked bar?

I can't drink on my day job due to its nature involving large commercial
vehicles and often police details. It wouldn't look good, not to mention
that it would violate federal laws.

You may not be able to claim victory yet. There are a few academics around
here. Professors have been known to keep a bottle or two in the bottom left
desk drawer.
