It's an opinion, John, and my point is broader than
you acknowledge.  Novels and pop albums are apples and
oranges, and I don't think a pop music album can
communicate the scope or depth than a novel can.

Specifically, I doubt that Dylan's new album will be a
interesting, from an artistic perspective, as
Pynchon's new novel.  That's an opinion, too.
