  M&D (written in large part, long before VL)  classic american buddy tale, squeezing sperm homo-eroticism, failed. 
   
  He wants to be popular. He wants to sell books. The last two didn't sell. They were failures.  
   
  If he writes M&D II, instead of the feminst (great, overlooked, underappraciated and marginalized math-lady) lip-licker he was rumored to be writing, will he fade into the sunset?
