'Squeezing sperm homo-eroticism' was one of the themes in GR (Gingerbread 
House and all), GR was a roaring success. (I don't think because of that). 
It is my conviction that Pynchon is too broad to limit himself to such 
categories, he doesn't write feminist novels, he doesn't write leftist 
novels, he doesn't write war novels, he doesn't write science fiction or 
historical or whatever novels, there are others who do that. Pynchon is a 
cosmogony to himself, inscrutable are his ways.
