Makes sense, in that generally it seems to be the deadly undertow lurking beneath "civilization," be that terrorism, global warming, misunderstood/angry apes, what-have-you. For me, that Creature conjured up memories of the Lubeck angel in GR. not saying there's a direct connection, just felt reminiscent.
