ATD: candidate errata

Sharp eyes, Monte! You found more than double the number of errors I did. 
Mostly overlaps, but I have a few additions:

P. 518 l. 1: "ignorant off" [should be "of"]
p. 531 l. 13: rende[z]vous
p. 786 l. 5: th[r]ough

Also, a couple of places where the syntax seems strange to me, Not sure 
about these, though:

p. 610, l. 30: "some composite with that soft a shine to it" - in the 
context, "that soft shine" or better: "a soft shine" would be more fitting.

P. 830, l. 23-24: "Preferring your own sex? What is that? If anything, these 
days, is path to career advancement" - Shouldn't it be "it's a path to.." or 
something?

p. 880, l. 16: "faces [...] which knew and understand one another" - the 
shift of grammatical tense seems strange.

P. 962, l. 36: "a tenderness she had seen before this only when he held 
Ljubica" - shouldn't "this" be deleted?
